    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. Ground beef
    1 TBS. Butter
    1 medium onion, sliced thinly
    1 ½ tsp. Salt
    Pepper to taste
    1 TBS. Worchestershire sauce
    1 can tomatoes
    3 med. Potatoes, peeled and sliced
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    3 ribs celery, chopped

    Basically, you brown your meat in the butter, drain, and add all the other stuff. Add water as needed, and more seasonings, if you like. It doesn’t look like it, but it does make a big pot. I think the tomatoes is a large can of peeled tomatoes, crushed (with the juice).

    Added note: DM says to add another can of tomatoes, and an equal amount of either chicken or beef broth. She still says add a little water if you see it’s getting too thick. She also par-boils her carrots ahead of time, to sort of speed up the cooking process. Oh…add the onions with the ground beef.
