    2 cup onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp butter
    1 1/2 cup chicken broth
    1 cup cream
    1 cup cream of potato soup
    1/4 cup water
    2 Tbsp cornstarch
    1/4 tsp black pepper, coursley ground
    3 cup ham, cooked and diced
    parsley to garnish

    Cook onions in butter until tender and drain. In a bowl, mix cream and cream of potato soup. blend water, cornstarch and pepper; cook stirring occasionally until thick and bubbly. Stir in ham; simmer 15 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
