List of Ingredients
1 lb. shrimp
1/2 lb scallops
1/2 lb mussels
12 little neck clams
2 lobsters, live
1 lb. long grain white rice
Recipe
Sauteed shrimp, scallops, lobsters 3-4 minutes, add rice. Boil clams 3-4 minutes then add mussels and remove from heat, let stand 1-2 minutes until mussels open. And the mussels and clams to the above ingredients. In a large sauce pot place rice and add water untill 1 & 1/2 inches above rice. Bring to a boil cover and simmer 20-35 minutes. Add Creole sauce, simmer 5 to 6 minutes and serve.
Creole Sauce:
1/2 green pepper, chopped medium
1/2 red pepper, chopped medium
2 ribs celery, chopped medium
1/2 onion, chopped medium
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tbsp. basil leaves
1/2 tbsp. oregano leaves
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp. chef blurs butcher Creole seasoning
3 c. diced tomatoes
3 c. tomato juice
Cook all ingredients except diced tomatoes and tomato juice for 2 to 3 minutes, add tomatoes and juice cook for 7 to 10 minutes, salt to taste.
