Dewy Lemon Salad

1 large pkg. lemon Jell-O (sweetened)
2 cups hot water
2 cups Mountain Dew and pineapple juice, combined*
1 12 ounce can pineapple tidbits*
1 cup Cool Whip or whipped cream
2 cups tiny marshmallows
1 can lemon pie filling

Recipe



Dissolve Jell-O in hot water, then add the juice from the pineapple and enough Mountain Dew to make the two cups of liquid

Chill until syrupy and then fold in the pineapple tidbits and marshmallows.

Pour into a 9x13 glass dish and chill until firm.

Whip the cream or Cool Whip and fold in the lemon pie filling until thoroughly mixed, and spread this on top of the set Jell-O.

Sprinkle with nut meats (optional). Chill well.
*Reserve the drained juice from the pineapple tidbits, and add the juice to enough Mountain Dew to make 2 cups.
