Steak Salad with Garlic Dressing

3-4 cups cooked steak (leftover London Broil works well) cut into thick julienne slices
2/3 c. diced sweet red pepper
1/3 c. chopped purple onion
2/3 c. garlic dressing (You can PILE it on! see below for recipe)
1 pound cooked pasta (small shells or spirals soak up the sauce well)
GARLIC DRESSING
1 egg yolk
1/3 c. red wine vinegar
1 T. sugar
1 T. chopped garlic (from a jar is fine)
salt and pepper
1 c. olive oil
Combine everything but the oil in the bowl of a food processor, or mixing bowl, and stir. Gradually add olive oil. Taste and add salt and pepper to taste.
Put it all together in one huge bowl and toss until the dressing coats everything. Serve immediately, or refrigerate, then let return to room temp before serving.
