    Apple, Prune and Raisin Stuffing

    2 cups of chopped peeled tart apples
    1/2 cup of chopped cooked prunes
    1/2 cup of seedless raisins
    5 cups of toasted bread crumbs
    1/4 cup of melted butter or margarine
    1/4 cup of firmly packed light brown sugar
    Grated rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 teaspoon of paprika
    1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon of salt
    3/4 cup of apple juice or cider

    Mix all of the ingredients together. Use as stuffing for chicken, duck or pork shoulder. Makes about 8 cups
