Onion Stuffing

1/4 pound of butter
6 large onions (boiled until barelt tender, drained and chopped)
4 tablespoons finely chopped celery
4 cups dry breadcrumbs
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper.
salt to taste
Melt the butter in a skillet and add the clery. Cook over low heat until soft. Add this mixture to the crumbs and toss lightly with the oinion, salt and pepper.
(for moister stuffing add 1/4 cup of chicken broth)
