Savory Bread Stuffing

3/4 cup of celery, chopped fine
2 tablespoons of onion, chopped fine
3 tablespoons of parsley flakes
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 qt. bread cubes (soft)
1/2 teaspoon of savory
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
Cook celery, onion and parsley in butter or margarine until tender. Mix lightly with remaining ingredients. Bake covered during last hours of roasting turkey. Makes 4 cups of dressing, uncooked. Allow 1 tablespoon chicken or turkey broth per cup of uncooked dressing for a more moist dressing.
