    4 reg size packages of instant chocolate pudding or mousse
    1 large tub of whipped topping
    1 pkg chocolate cake mix ( or your own recipe )
    1 cup kahluha ( optional - but this "makes" this recipe special )
    6 Skor or Heath candy bars ( chocloate toffee kinds ) chopped

    Prepare box mix as directed or your prepare your own chocolate cake recipe and bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan. When done, remove from the oven, poke holes in the cake and pour the kahluha over the cake. Let cool. Meanwhile prepare the pudding or mousse. Tear or crumble the cake into pieces. In a large glass or trifle bowl, layer in this order: cake , pudding, whipped topping and candy bars. Repeat layers ending with candy bars on top. Chill well.
    Serves 12. An easy delicious dessert great for a buffet.
    Editor's note: I also made this recipe by baking my homemade chocolate cake in a bundt pan ( instead of a 9 x 13 pan ) and it worked out well. Also the recipe can be prepared using 1/2 the quantity of ingredients . Use 1/2 of everything ( just save the other 1/2 of baked cake and serve as is or freeze ).
