Kahlua Toffee Trifle

1 package Devil's Food Cake mix
2 small packages Instant Chocolate pudding
4 cups milk
2 (8-ounce) cartons of Frozen Whipped Topping
6 each Heath or Skor bars (crushed)
1/2 cup Kahlua (or substitute 1/2 cup of very strong coffee) Recipe
Prepare and bake cake mix.
Cool and break 1/2 of the cake into large pieces. Place cake pieces in bottom of large trifle bowl.
Pour 1/4 cup of either Kahlua or coffee over cake and lightly pat down.
Prepare pudding according to directions. Pour 1/2 of pudding over the cake in the bowl. Spread 1/2 of whipped topping on top of the pudding. Top this with 1/2 of the crushed candy.
Repeat this with each layer to fill the bowl.
Note: It's best when made a day ahead.
