    1 T plus 1 tsp instant coffee
    2 T hot water
    1/4 c sugar
    1 angel food cake (about 12 oz)
    2 cans skimmed evaporated milk
    1 (5 oz) pkg instant vanilla pudding
    1 (16 oz) carton whipped topping
    English toffee bar coarsely crushed (6 oz)

    Dissolve coffee and sugar in hot water. Let cool. Pour milk and pudding into coffee mixture. Mix on low speed for 2 mins

    Tear cake into 1 1/2 " pieces. Add to pudding mix and set aside for 5 minutes.

    Put 1/2 of the mixture in a 2 qt. serving bowl. Top with half the topping and half of the toffee. Repeat.

    Cover with foil and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.

    Makes 12 servings
