Garlic Potato Pie

1 lb. scrubbed boiled potatoes, peeled or unpeeled
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup milk
Garlic Garni to taste (or garlic salsa)
salt & pepper to taste
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Slice potatoes thinly.
Butter a 9 inch pie plate.
Arrange a layer of potatoes, garlic slices, Garlic Garni or garlic salsa, cheese and slices of butter or margarine. Repeat using the remaining ingredients, reserving some cheese and butter or margarine.
Heat milk and pour over the potatoes. Top with breadcrumbs and remaining cheese and butter or margarine.
Bake (1) one hour until potatoes are tender and the top is a golden brown.
