    Green Peas in Sassy Sauce

    1-10 oz pkg frozen green peas
    1 large cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced ( need about 1 1/2 cups)
    2 Tbsp water
    1 tsp tarragon leaves
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. salad dressing
    1 Tbsp lemon juice

    Recipe



    Mix peas, cucumber, water, tarragon leaves in heavy saucepan. Cover tightly; cook over low heat until peas are tender, then drain, set aside.

    For the sauce: combine sour cream, salad dressing and lemon juice and warm over very low heat, stirring constantly.

    Add peas and cucumbers to the sauce. Serve immediately.
