    2 pounds of fresh broccoli
    1 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
    1 cup of distilled vinegar
    1 tablespoon of sugar
    1 tablespoon of dill seed
    1 teaspoon of garlic salt
    1 teaspoon of black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon of salt

    Recipe



    Trim off the large leaves of broccoli and remove the tough
    ends of the lower stalks. Wash the broccoli thoroughly. Cut
    off the flowerets (reserve the stems for another use), and place
    in a large bowl. Combine the remaining ingredients in a jar,
    cover tightly and shake vigorously. Pour the marinade over
    the broccoli and toss gently to coat. Cover and chill for at
