    2 medium cucumbers -- peeled & sliced
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon celery seed
    dash pepper (generous)

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients and put it in a plastic container
    that has a tight cover. Every so often I turn the container
    over to make sure all the cucumber slices get their share
    of marinade.

    Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
