    Old fashion Asparagus with Bacon

    24 stalks asparagus
    1 C. sour cream
    1/4 C. mayonnaise
    1 T. lemon juice
    4 slices of toast
    1/4 C. crisp bacon, crumbled

    Recipe



    Cook asparagus in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and arrange on toast. Top with cream mixture (sour cream, mayo, lemon juice mixed well). Run under broiler until top bubbles. Scatter crisp crumbled bacon on top, serve immediately. Makes 4 servings on a beautiful spring day!
