    Spicy Marinated Green Beans

    1 pound fresh green beans (trim ends)
    1 yellow bell pepper, cut in thin strips
    1 red bell pepper, cut in thin strips

    1 & 1/2 cups white wine vinegar
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1 & 1/2 cups water
    1 T. black peppercorns
    1/2 t. liquid crab boil (like Old Bay)
    1 medium jalapeno pepper, diced
    2 t. kosher salt
    2 T. whole mustard seeds
    1 T. Creole seasoning
    4 T. spanish green oilve juice
    4 cloves fresh garlic, thinly sliced

    Recipe



    Place all ingredients except the beans & peppers in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
    Lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Place the beans and peppers in a large shallow dish and pour the boiling marinade over them.
    Cover tightly with plastic wrap and allow to cool completley.
    When cool, place into a lage freezer zip lock bag and chill in the fridg for at least 4 hours until ready to serve them.

    Put beans in a nice serving dish for your table.

    NOTE: DO not cook beans.
