Vegetables in Beer Batter

1-1/3 C. flour
2 T. Parmesan cheese
1 T. chopped parsley
1 tsp. salt
dash garlic
12 ounces of beer, at room temperature and flat
2 eggs, separated
green peppers, cauliflower, onion, artichoke hearts, zucchini or broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
Oil for deep frying
Recipe
In a large bowl, combine flour, cheese, parsley, salt, and garlic. Stir in beer and egg yolks. Beat egg whites until stiff and flod into beer mixture. dip veggy pieces into batter. Heat oil (to 375*) and try a few pieces of batter-dipped veggys at a time in oil until golden. drain on paper toweling. Serve immediately.
