Makes 4 servings

List of Ingredients
1/2 lbs spaghetti
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 sliced canadian bacon, chopped (I usually add 3 slices. Make sure you add points if you do though)
1 red onion chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
one 14 1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (I usually leave this out because I am not an oregano fan.)
1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (I usually add more cause I love the heat)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Recipe
In a large nonstick saucepan, heat the oil. Sauté the bacon until heated through, about 1 min. Stir in the onion and garlic; cook covered, shaking the pan occasionally, for about 5 min. Stir in the tomatoes, oregano, pepper flakes, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of water (I use a little less water so that my sauce is thicker). Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered until slightly reduced, about 5 min (I go a little longer so the sauce is thicker) Toss sauce with cooked past, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
