Water Chestnut Appetizers

List of Ingredients
1 can whole water chestnuts, drained
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup sugar
4 slices of bacon, cut in half lengthwise and crosswise (4 pieces)
Recipe
Marinate water chestnuts in soy sauce for 30 minutes. Then roll them in sugar and wrap a piece of bacon around and fasten with a toothpick. Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes. Drain on paper towels and sever hot.
*I presoak the toothpicks in water to prevent them from burning in the oven.
