    I love this quiche recipe. I've tried many and perfected this one.

    List of Ingredients




    1 pie crust, floured on bottom and crimped on edges
    *I use Pillsbury prepared pie crusts rolls in fridge section
    4 eggs at room temperature , beaten
    1 cup of milk at room temperature
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper or 1/4 tsp nutmeg

    FOR SPINACH QUICHE
    5 slices of bacon, cooked until crisp and then crumbled
    1 box frozen spinach, 15 oz, cooked and squeezed dry
    5 slices of swiss cheese, diced. About 1 cup

    FOR BROCCOLI QUICHE
    3/4 cup diced ham
    1 box chopped frozen broccoli, 15 oz, cooked and drained well
    5 slices cheddar cheese, diced, About 1 cup

    DIRECTIONS
    Prepare pie crust and place in pie plate making sure bottom of crust is lightly floured.
    Whisk milk and eggs together adding the spices. Set aside.

    Place meat in crust. (ham for broccoli,  bacon for spinach)
    Place cheese on top of meat. (Swiss for spinach,  cheddar for broccoli)
    Pour milk and egg mixture over top.

    Bake at 350° F for 45 minutes to an hour or until a knife inserted in quiche comes out clean.

    Remove from oven and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
