CHOCOLATE TOFFEE

List of Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 c water
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c chopped nuts
- 1 large pkg chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine first 4 ingredients & cook to light crack (285').
- Pour on greased cookie sheet. Cool.
- Melt chocolate chips. Spread half on top of toffee; sprinkle with 1/2 c nuts. Press in lightly with a flat spatula. Cool.
- Turn over & repeat with remaining chocolate & nuts.
- When chocolate has cooled, break toffee in pieces.
