    I LOVE CORNBREAD, AND THIS IS A GOOD ONE. BUTTER MAKES IT ESPECIALLY GOOD.

    List of Ingredients





    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    3/4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    3 tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. soda

    Recipe




    Sift flour, measure and again sift with dry ingredients. Beat eggs and milk together. Add melted butter. Preheat waffle iron. Pour batter on grill and bake.
