1/3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. yellow cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 tbsp. salad oil or melted shorteningRecipe
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; stir in cornmeal. Combine egg, sour cream and salad oil; add to dry ingredients, stirring until just blended. Preheat corn stick pan; grease generously. Fill pans 2/3 full; bake sticks in preheated 400 degree oven for 25 minutes.
