BANANA SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Recipe
In bowl, cream butter until light. Gradually beat in sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add mashed bananas, vanilla and sour cream. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Fold into the creamed mixture, stirring just to blend. In bowl combine finely chopped nuts, sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/2 of this mixture over bottom of well greased bundt pan. Spoon 1/2 of the batter over the bottom nut layer. Sprinkle the remaining nut mixture and cover with balance of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Yield: 1 ring cake.
