    List of Ingredients






    6 oz. chocolate wafers
    2 tbsp. butter, melted
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. cream cheese
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, separated
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
    (chips or sqs.)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. heavy cream (1 c. whipped)
    2 oz. macadamia nuts
    5 oz. chopped macadamia nuts

    With food processor or blender, process the wafers with 2 ounces of nuts to make a fine mixture. Add melted butter. Spread in bottom of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake 5 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool, then place in freezer. Whip cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until light. Add vanilla, egg yolks, and chocolate. Whip egg whites with remaining 1/2 cup sugar to soft peak stage. Into third bowl, whip the cream. Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture. Fold in the cream, then the chopped nuts. Place in shell and freeze until serving time. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate. Note: Almonds, walnuts, or pecans might be substituted for macadamia nuts.
