List of Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 medium clove garlic, finely minced
1 pound fresh Portobello mushrooms, cleaned, (stand on cap then cut in 1/4-inch vertical slices)
1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Mix, prepared as directed on package
1 tablespoon whipping cream
Recipe
In large saute pan heat oil and butter. Rub the minced garlic over mushroom slices then add mushrooms to pan. Saute mushrooms 3 to 4 minutes, turning half way through cooking time and stirring constantly.
Turn off heat. Add blue cheese, and cover until cheese melts, 3 to 4 minutes. Add cream to prepared ranch dressing. Mix until smooth. Serve mushrooms topped with the ranch sauce. Makes 2 to 4 appetizer servings.
