    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. of your favorite extract

    Recipe



    Cream shortening; add sugar; cream well. Gradually add flour sifted with salt and baking powder. Fill the cookie press. Form into desired shapes onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
