    CHEESECAKE
    3 pkgs 8oz each cream cheese at room temp
    1 cup granulated sugar
    4 eggs
    1 Cup sour cream
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    3 Tbs. all purpose flour
    CARROT CAKE
    3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
    2/3 cup canola oil
    1 egg
    1 cup all purpose flour
    3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup grated carrot
    1/3 cup chopped walnuts
    1 can 16 oz cream cheese frosting
    marzipan carrots and 1/2 cup toasted chopped walnuts

    Position racks in center and lower third of oven. Preheat oven to 350. Place roasting pan on lower rack; fill halfway with water. Coat 9 inch spring form pan with cooking spray .

    CHEESECAKE At high speed beat cream cheese until fluffy. Reduce speed to medium-low. Add sugar; beat 3 minutes. Beat in sour cream and vanilla, then flour until smooth.

    CARROT CAKE; In another bowl at medium speed beat sugar and il until combined. Add egg; beat 2 minutes. Reduce speed to low. Add next 4 ingredients; beat until combined. Stir in carrots and walnuts. Spread carrot cake batter in pan. Top with cheesecake batter. Bake on rack above pan of water. 1 hour, 10 minutes, covering with foil if browning to quickly. cool 10 minutes. Run knife around edge of cake to loosen. Cool in pan on rack. Refrigerate at least 8 hours. Remove side from pan. If desired, transfer 3/4 cup frosting to pastry bag fitted with large star tip. Spread top and side of cake with remaining frosting. Pipe rosettes onto cake and garnish with marizipan carrots and walnuts if desired.
