    Brooklyn Meatballs

    List of Ingredients




    1 egg
    1/3 c milk
    1 1/2 c soft bread cubes
    1 lb ground beef
    1/2 c grated Romano cheese
    1 tsp finely minced garlic
    1/4 c finely minced parsely
    1/4 c olive oil

    Recipe



    Beat egg in a large bowl, then blend in milk. Add the bread cubes, stirring to coat well. Let sit for 15 mintues.
    Using a fork, mash the bread cubes until they've formed a rough paste. Add ground beef to the bowl and working with your hands, incorporated the paste into the beef. Add the cheese, garlic and parsley and blend evenly with meat. Add salt and pepper
    Using wet hands, form the meat into balls the size of golf balls. Place in olive oil in a large heavy saute pan over medium high heat. Add the meatballs to oil and brown on all sides. Don't crowd them.
