    Hibachi Chicken with Wasabi Cream

    ½ c sour cream
    1 tbl soy sauce
    2 tsp wasabi powder
    3 tbl finely chopped green onions

    Chicken

    ¼ c dry sherry or orange juice
    ¼ c soy sauce
    1 tbl minced fresh ginger
    1 tbl dark sesame oil
    1 tsp hot chili paste
    4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
    1 tbl sesame seeds
    1 tbl finely chopped green onion

    Recipe



    In small bowl, stir together sour cream, 1 tbl soy sauce and wasabi powder. Refrigerate at least 1 hr to blend flavors.

    In shallow glass dish or resealable plastic bag, stir together sherry, ¼ c soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil and chili paste. Place chicken between 2 sheets of plastic wrap and flatten with mallet to ½". Place chicken in marinade, turning to coat. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours.

    Heat grill. Remove chicken from marinade and reserve marinade. Pat sesame seeds onto both sides of chicken. Oil grill grates. Place chicken on grill over medium high heat. Grill 8 to 10 minutes until no longer pink in center, turning once and basting with marinade halfway through. Discard remaining marinade.
    Remove wasabi cream from refrigerator 20 minutes before serving and stir in 3 tbl green onions just before serving.
    Spoon wasabi cream on chicken and sprinkle with more green onions.
