1 1/2 teaspoons anchovy paste
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons stone-ground mustard
1 tablespoon dried oregano
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons buttermilk
Recipe
Combine anchovy paste, mayonnaise, garlic powder, mustard, oregano and black pepper.
Mix with wire whip until blended. When well mixed, slowly infuse all remaining ingredients into the mayonnaise mixture. Continue to whip until all liquid is incorporated. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
