Hickory House Sour Slaw

1/4 c vegetable oil
1/4 c white vinegar
1 tbl dry sherry
2 small cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
1 tbl sugar
heaping 1 tsp salt
1/2 medium head green cabbage, thinly sliced
1/4 c chopped parsley leavesRecipe
Put oil, vinegar, 2 tbl water, garlic, sugar and salt in blender and puree until smooth. Put cabbage in large bowl and sprinkle parsley on top. Pour dressing over slaw and toss well. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least one hour.
