Molten Magma Meatloaf
List of Ingredients
2 eggs
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork (or turkey)
3 C. whole wheat flake cereal
1 C. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
cheese topping
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 C. shredded cheese
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauceRecipe
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix thoroughly all ingredients except for the cheese topping in a bowl. Place meat mixture in an ungreased baking pan. Shape with your hands into a round shape. Gently press down the center and build up the sides to make a wall 1 inch high and 1 inch wide around the outside of the circle.
Prepare cheese topping by beating the egg and milk together in a bowl. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour cheese topping into the crater of the meatloaf. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until golden brown on top.
