1 CUP SUGAR
1 TABLESPOON BAKING SODA
1/4 TEASPOON SALT
1/2 CUP SHORTENING
2 EGGS
1 CUP MILK, SKIM
2 CUPS BLUEBERRIES

CRUNCHY TOPPING :
1/4 STICK BUTTER
1/2 CUP SUGAR
1/3 CUP FLOUR

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER. ADD MILK, EGGS & SHORTENING TO DRY MIXTURE. FINALLY ADD BLUEBERRIES. GREASE 9X9 PAN AND POUR BATTER INTO THE PAN.
TO MAKE THE CRUNCHY TOPPING, MIX MELTED BUTTER, SUGAR AND FLOUR AND SPRINKLE OVER CAKE MIXTURE. BAKE FOR 25 MINUTES. BEST IF LET TO COOL FOR 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO CUTTING.
NOTE: GREAT TO SERVE WITH FRENCH VANILLA ICE CREAM!
