CARAMEL COFFEE CAKE
List of Ingredients
2 cans buttermilk biscuits
1/2 stick melted butter or marg.
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tart baking apple
cinnamon sugar (2 Tbsp. sugar & 2 tsp. ground cinnamon)

(I love my Stoneware Deep Dish Baker and have found this recipe works best in it) Melt butter, mix in sugar and syrup. Spread in Deep Dish Baker, sprinkle nuts on
top. Peal, Core and chop your apple, and spread over nuts. Dip each biscuit in cinnamon sugar and place sugared side down on chopped apple.
Sprinkle remaining sugar on top and bake at 375º for 18 - 20 minutes (or until golden brown). Invert immediately onto serving dish, but be careful that you don't spill the hot caramel over yourself!
