Judy's Cream Cheese Brownies

All I can say is that they are worth the calories!
List of Ingredients
Cream Cheese Filling:
6 oz. of cream cheese softened
1/3 cup of butter
1/3 cup of sugar
2 Tbsp. of flour
2 eggs
¾ tsp of vanilla
Beat together the cream cheese & butter until smooth. Add the sugar, flour, eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth – set aside.
Brownie:
1½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
2/3 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 – 1 oz. liquid chocolate (if this isn’t available I use the baking chocolate squares)
2 tsp. vanilla
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt – set aside. Cream together the butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time – beating well after each addition. Beat in the chocolate and the vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients.
Spread half of brownie mixture in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Pour the cream cheese filling over the brownie mixture, drop the remaining brownie mixture over the cream cheese filling and marbleize. Bake at 350º for 40 – 45 minutes or until done.
Frost per recipe below:
¼ cup softened butter
3 squares of premium baking chocolate
1½ - 2 cups of powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Milk to soften
The frosting recipe I go by consistency and taste – add more milk, a little chocolate, etc.
