PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. FINELY CHOP WAFERS AND PECANS; RESERVE 1/2 CUP. COMBINE CHOPPED WAFERS, NUTS AND BUTTER. PRESS ONTO BOTTOW OF 9X13 BAKER. COMBINE CREAM CHEESE, SUGAR AND EGG. ZEST 1 TABLESPOON LEMON ZEST. JUICE 3 TABLESPOONS OF THE LEMON. ADD ZEST AND JUICE TO CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE. SPREAD CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE OVER CRUST. SPINKLE WITH RESERVED 1/2 CUP CRUST. BAKE 20-25 MINUTES OR UNTIL SET. CUT INTO BARS AND SERVE.
