    Egg Rolls

    List of Ingredients




    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1 ½ lb. ground pork
    1 t black pepper
    1 t white pepper
    ½ t granulated garlic
    1/2 t salt
    1 t soy sauce
    ½ t ground ginger
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1 carrot, shredded
    1 package egg roll wrappers
    1 egg, beaten


    Recipe



    Stir-fry and crumble the meat in a hot wok until done. Add the onion, carrot, celery, cabbage and spices to meat and continue to stir-fry. Add more soy sauce if desired. Stir-fry until tender and drain on paper towels. Roll mixture in the wrappers.

    Brush the seams with egg to seal and deep-fry in peanut oil till golden. Try to devise some way to stand the egg rolls on end to drain. I use a bread pan lined with paper towels.
