CORN BREAD TACO BAKE

1 1/2 POUNDS HAMBERG -- BROWNED, DRAINED
1 PACKAGE TACO SEASONING MIX
1/2 CUP WATER
1 CAN CORN
1/2 CUP GREEN PEPPER -- CHOPPED
1 CAN TOMATO SAUCE
1 PACKAGE CORN MUFFIN MIX
1 CAN DURKEE FRIED ONIONS
1/2 CUP CHEDDAR CHEESE -- SHREDDED
Recipe
BROWN MEAT AND ADD TACO SEASONINGS, H20, CORN, GR. PEPPER & TOMATO SAUSE. POUR INTO THE 9X9 PAN. IN A SEPARATE DISH MAKE CORN BREAD MIXTURE AND ADD 1/2 CAN OF THE ONIONS. SPOOL MIXTURE AROUND THE EDGES OF THE BAKER. BAKE UNCOVERED FOR 20 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND TOP WITH THE CHEDDAR CHEESE AND REMAINDER OF THE ONIONS. BAKE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2-3 MINUTES. SERVES 4-6 FOR DINNER.
