    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cups corn meal
    • 2 cups boiling water
    • 2 Tbs Butter
    • 1/2 cup molasses
    • 1 cake quick acting yeast
    • 1/2 cup luke warm water
    • 4 3/4 cups


    Instructions


    1. Stir corn meal very slow into boiling water stiring constantly. Boil for 5 more minutes and then add butter and molasses and salt.Cool, do not cover. When luke warm add yeast cake that has been softened in 1/2 cup luke warm water.
    2. Add Flour for stiff dough, knead well and let rise until double in bulk. Shape into loaves. Place in pantry to rise until double in bulk again.
    3. Bake at 300 for 1 hour.
