    OKRA CRAWFISH CASSEROLE

    1 lb dressed crawfish
    1 T lemon juice
    1 onion
    I small bellpepper
    1 clove garlic
    1 can whole tomatoes
    1½ lbs okra (cut fiat rounds)
    bread crumbs
    butter
    seasonings to taste

    Recipe




    Break up tomatoes and mix in chopped onion, bellpepper and garlic. Saute crawfish in butter and lemon juice for about 5 minutes. Chop okra into thin rounds and in a large casserole dish put a layer of okra at the bottom, then a layer of crawfish over the okra. Over this pour the tomato
    mixture. Make another layer starting with the okra and continue uniti all ingredients are used up.
