New Orleans French Toast

List of Ingredients
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel or drops of orange oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 8 slices stale bread ( or any really)
Instructions
- Whisk all ingredients except butter and bread . Heat 1 tablespoon butter in 10inch skillet until melted.
- Dip several slices into egg mixture(stirring frequently).
Cook about 2min. on each side or until golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining bread slices adding butter as
needed .
- Serve with syrup .
