    Filling: 1 c. sliced mushrooms, drained (or fresh mushrooms, sliced and fried in butter)
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 T. butter
    1/3 c. sour cream

    Loaf: 1 1/2 c. ground beef
    3/4 c. oats
    1 egg
    2 t. salt
    1/4 t. pepper
    1 t. worchestershire sauce
    2/3 c. milk

    Recipe



    Prepare the Filling by frying the mushrooms and onions in butter. Cool and add the sour cream.

    Prepare the loaf: Mix all loaf ingredients together thoroughly. Put half in pan. Make and oval base out of it. Fill it well with the filling. Add the top part (nest) and seal. Bake it one hour at 350 degrees.

    The loaf is like the egg white and the filling is like the yolk of a hard boiled egg. Juicy.
