Don't know where I got this recipe but if you like chocolate chip cookies you need to try this one. And of course they are always the best when taken from the oven steaming with melting chocolate when you break one apart.


List of Ingredients




2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup butter at room temperature
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 pkg. (12 oz) chocolate semisweet chips
1/2 cup walnuts

Recipe



Heat oven to 300. Mix flour with soda and salt and set aside. With mixer, beat the sugars until mixed and add butter, beat until sandy looking. Add eggs and vanilla beat until just mixed. Drop heaping TB of dough 2: apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Press remaining chocolate chips into the dough mounds. Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes.
