Recipe Introduction

This cake makes a nice introduction into the Easter holiday or anytime. Your friends will be amazed at the beautiful color the of the cake. Be aware, your friends or guests will request this recipe, enjoy.

List of Ingredients

1 package of lemon supreme cake mix
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup lime juice
1 ( 3 ounce) package lime gelatin
1/2 cup shortening or oil
4 eggs

Icing:
2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup lime juice

Preheat oven to 325 and grease a tube pan
Mix cake mix, water, lime juice, gelatin, shortening or oil and eggs in a large mixing bowl on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes or ntil done.

Meanwhile, prepare the icing. Mix confectioners' sugar and lime juice until smooth. Using an ice pick, poke through cake top to bottom many times. Drizzle on icing while cake is warm. Serves 12 to 16.
