Recipe Introduction
Autumn is my favorite season and you will find my kitchen full of smells from the bounty of harvest. It just would not be Autumn without a Pumpkin cake. I have many recipes that are very good and they are hard to choose as to which are the best. I choose this one to add to my collection as it is very easy to make and so moist.
List of Ingredients
1 package of yellow cake mix
3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 cup canned pumpkin (store brand or homemade)
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour two 8 or 9 inch cake pans. In large bowl, mix cake ingredients. Beat at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pans. Bake for 25 minutes or until tested done. cool 10 minutes and remove frompans. In medium bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks from. Add powdered sugar and cinnamon; beat until stiff. Frost layers.
