    Rhubarb Custard Cake

    Recipe Introduction

    I grow my own Rhubarb and always have plenty to make an assortment of goodies. I was slow to try this cake recipe but finally with courage I baked it one summer day and wow, it is so wonderful. Give it a try and see if you feel the same way.

    List of Ingredients

    1 package of yellow cake mix
    4 cups chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb
    1 cup of sugar
    1 cup whipping cream


    Make cake mix according to package directions. Pour into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with rhubarb and sugar. slowly pour cream over top. bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. cool for 15 minutes and garnish with whipped cream.
