    I made jars of this and it is very easy

    List of Ingredients




    4-1/2 cups sugar
    3 TB lemon juice
    1 cup cornstarch
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp cinnamon
    About 6-1/2 lbs apples
    10 cups water

    Recipe



    Add water to first 6 ingredients. cook until bubbly and thick. Add yellow food coloring if desired. Pack apples in hot clean jars. Pour sauce on top. Process in hot water bath for 15 minutes. Makes about 6 to 7 quarts.
