Wow, I made this recipe in the year of 1995 and it was a success and a hit at our Christmas gathering. It is very pretty and very tastey.
List of Ingredients
1-1/2 cups boiling water
1 package (8 ounce) cranberry jello
1-1/2 cups cold water
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 chopped apple
1 cup whole cranberry sauce
Stir boiling water into gelatin in a large bowl for 2 minutes or until dissolves. Stir in cold water and cinnamon. Pour 2 cups of the gelatin into a medium bowl. Refrigerate about 1-1/2 hours or until thickened. Reserve remaining 1 cup gelatin at room temperature. Stir apples and cranberry sauce into thickened gelatin. Spoon into a 6 cup mold. refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set but not firm. Stir reserved 1 cup gelatin and pour over the gelatin layer. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
